Happy Birthday "Grandma in GA". I may not have gotten to see you as much as either of us wanted but we sure did make the most of the time we did spend together. There are not many memories as wonderful as the summers I spent with you and Ricardo...always wanting to stay longer. I wish we could have all lived closer and seen each other more. I still have so many of your sweet letters and cards that you sent to let me know you cared.
I've never seen my dad so sad as when he watched you fight such a horrible disease. I know he felt helpless...we all did. i saw so much love for you....my dad and phyllis were so amazing in caring for you until god finally called you home. I am so incredibly proud of them for it and they both showed me how powerful love can be. I hope your first birthday in heaven is as beautiful as you were inside and out. We miss your amazing smile and your soothing laugh. If love could have saved you...you would have lived forever ♡
